What is your most marked characteristic ?

I seek for beauty everywhere, all the time. Without it, I cannot feel nor breathe properly. And I need to travel, in my mind, all the time. It’s my way to stretch time. But my most marked characteristic is that I need coffee, all day long…!

WhaIf you could choose one song to play every time you walked into a room, what would you choose ?

A live version of “Who knows where the times goes” by Nina Simone, « Les Gymnopédies » by Erik Satie or « Ti einai auto pou to lene agapi » by Tonis Maroudas and Sophia Loren.

If you were a flower, what kind would you be and why ?

It’s the most difficult choice as I love all flowers!  I would choose sunflower – because they always seek for the sun to stay alive and when there is no light, they turn towards each other … it’s very poetic. I also love blue delphiniums, for their most delicate shape, most beautiful color. They look like poems.

What is the funniest thing that happened to you recently?

I couldn’t sleep, so walked through Paris, from 3AM until 3PM. The air was very warm and silent.
The streets went from being asleep to slowly waking up in a gentle silent light. It was very beautiful. I felt like time stretched… I felt absolutely free and happy.

Which is your favorite piece of art of yours ? 

I quite like my lastest piece “Les montagnes inversées” . It is a diptych of a mountain landscape. Ocean waves become mountains and the sea is the sky.  You can look at the painting upside down, it features the same lines and colors, but with an absolutely new energy. I wanted to represent the idea of infinite change, of life that begins everyday.  It’s precious and important to sometimes move the vision we have of things and emotions, in order to see their new beauty. This painting is part of my project “le tour du monde avant la tempête”.
